EU4Environment – Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production (RECP) in Azerbaijan
The “EU4Environment” Action helps the six Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine to preserve their natural capital and increase people’s environmental well-being by supporting environment-related actions, demonstrating and unlocking opportunities for greener growth, and setting mechanisms to better manage environmental risks and impacts.

Call for companies

The UNIDO RECP Demonstration Project of the EU4Environment Action in Azerbaijan is welcoming any interested enterprises (working in food production and agro-processing, construction and/or chemical materials sectors) to participate in the demonstration programme on Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production.

The selected companies are expected to collaborate with the RECP Demonstration Component Project and its national experts, and to be willing to disclose and share the results and achievements obtained from implementing the RECP opportunities identified through the Demonstration Project.

The RECP Demonstration Project aims to foster the uptake of Resource Efficient and Cleaner Production methods, practices, technologies and policies, through capacity building, industry demonstrations, and policy support. The RECP assessment is based on the application of preventive environmental management and productivity concepts to manufacturing and other sectors, in order to achieve an efficient use of natural resources (materials, water and energy), to minimize the generation of wastes and emissions, and to achieve the reduction of chemical and industrial risks.

For any questions, queries, or steps to apply for the RECP Demonstration Project, please contact us in the Contact section.
